How to add copyright text to images?

Some people always ask me about images which I upload on internet - How do I reduce them in size?...How do i copyright them??...How do i add watermark to it?
I thought I better put these information on blog rather than writing it down to every person..
so here it is ...

well I use FastStone Image Viewer software to do all this kind of cosmetics...

Install this software and run it....

Now, you can see windows explorer like interface. Browse through the folder where you have kept your photos downloaded from your digital camera. Select them all and click on Convert Selected Images in Tools menu....

Thats the tool we are looking for which process multiple images in batch.

It will open a window namely - Batch Image Convert/Rename. You will see all your selected images at left side in Input List. You can add or remove images to/fro Source section.

Below that you would see output format. Keep it as a JPEG format. Select the output folder where all your images after conversion are going to be stored. If you dont specify output folder then all your original images will be overwritten.

Now select the checkbox 'use advance option' and click on Advance option button. The new window will appear infront of you to set advance option.
- Use resize - Pick standard size of 1024 * 768 (I am sure no one is really interested to watch photo in big size more than that....)
- Use color depth - Click on checkbox - select 24bit.
- Use Text - Enter text in textbox, provided to write text on image like copyrights n all..use xY offset to change the position of text on image.
- Use watermark - To superimpose ur image with another one.

Press ok button to return to main window.

You can start batch processing by presssing start button. Once it get finished you can look for converted images in output folder you specified.

You can save useful bandwidth by reducing your image size. You dont need to circulate or post or upload images which has size more than 200Kb n resolution more than 1600 * 1200. You need it when you print it.

Height of addiction to Orkut..

day 1 Sunday 25th JUne 06 - i have installed this norton antivirus soft which came with my m/b cd...but since it was a evaluation copy..i decided to move mcafee ...one of my friend gave me Mcafee cd....i installed that....suddenly i reaallize that..my orkut is not workin..was givin mesg - not able to connect to d site...i thought it wont be serious prob..so i overlooked it .....moved out with friends....sunday evenin..[:)]

day 2 Monday 26th JUne 06 -...came bak frm ofice...was rainin heavily here in kalyan...turned on d pc....stlll d same prob...ahhh.....got frustrated.....chatted wth few friends.....tried checkin...connection tab....advanced options....with d proxy settin...evrthng...reinstalled d IE7...but still d prob was persisting..later jumped to mozilla 1.5...same prob....i heard that mozilla was d best....but...anyways...finally aske my friend to copy my scrapbooks todays entries...n paste it to me...so i can c atleast wat d scraps are..? wanted to reply..post....but was helpless.....frustration for not able to access orkut and addiction of orkut was at its peak...9.40pm.....i decided to go cyber cafe ....drove the bike.....n spent 15rs to sit 1hr............

day3 Tuesday 27th JUne 06 -....had a few chats with office colleagues...abt wat cud be d prob.....then also thought of reInstallin XP....when i had no options left....lately i started askin to google....he gave me thousands of links...some beautifull stories abt how to enable https...secure sites....blalblalbl....pakau things..i dont wanted to read that....jhop yet hoti.....then here comes sahil p..pashya.....frm karhade community....he happend to be ther in my yahoo list...i dont remember when i had a last chat wth this guy.....i also discussed the same prob with him....
later he gave me his companys some remote server IP address.....to access orkut remotely.....wher i cud login to site by providing user credentials........finally chirkut started orkutting........but speed was so pathetic......hardly maanaged to see my scraps.....then this idea came into my mind...dunnoo......whether it was right or wrong...but it worked...i logged into that remote server....open the orkut ther on IE ....logged into orkut frm ther....copied the my scrapbook link......whcih was havin generated UID..session id.....with it....

then paste it to my local machine browser.....hurrrrrrrrrrray.....i got d thin workin...................

moral of d story......nothing is impossible in this world....

Supreme Court and 10.00pm

On the background of the stringent restrictions of 10.00pm applied to Ganesh festival by Supreme Court’s decision, all the Ganesh festival traditions of 150 years were broken to obey the 10.00pm rule this time in Ganesh festival. Supreme Court had rejected all the applications for loosening of those restrictions only on the last day during Ganesh festival. But all the cities showed enough patience and peace for the decision with the belief that the same thing will continue for other public festivals.

On this background, it is quite surprising that just after 11 days of this whole drama, the same court has loosened the restrictions for Dandia. It is quite surprising that Supreme Court realized the mistake just 1 day before the Dandia will start. At the same time all the Ganesh mandals are obviously feeling insulted. You cannot celebrate a Maharashtrian festival in Maharashtra after 10.00pm but you can celebrate Dandia, says chairman of a renowned Ganesh Mandal in Pune. Difference in Supreme Court’s justice for two consecutive festivals has raised a feeling of rage in millions of Maharashtrians, which is quite understandable.

It is said for years that black money flows through the organizations of Dandia. Is it because of this money that has spoken the justice just one day earlier to the celebrations? Or is it our inefficient Congress Government in Maharashtra that has failed to follow up the case, while Gujrat state government could do it.

What will the Government do now to soothe the rage? Why will the Ganesh Mandals obey something like this next year? May be next year before Dandia, Supreme court will realize that the celebrations throughout the night are also okay for just ten days of Dandia. Government and Supreme courts body should officially say sorry to all Marathi citizens and Ganesh devotees, other wise this feeling of insult and rage will rise as years will go ahead.
